Everyday for quite some time (several years) I have been spending my lunch hour walking along the Susquehanna River in Harrisburg’s Riverfront Park. The park runs parallel to the river between the shoreline and Front Street from Vaughn Street south to Paxton Street for a distance of about 5 miles. One of the prominent features of the park is the concrete river steps and walkway that follow the length of the park up to Maclay Street and descend into the river. Continue reading »
